The association for the support in the end of life Hospice.cat aims to offer society another way to face the end of life process, making it more humane, dignified and respectful.
This is a new model in Catalonia and proposes the creation of home hospices. Spaces with a long tradition in Anglo-Saxon countries such as the UK and Ireland where people are taken care holistically facing the process of the end of life in the most comfortable environment possible.
The management of hospices implies the coordination of very diverse healthcare professional profiles to take care of the inmates, their relatives and the people close to them.
